Founded in 1963, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is the preeminent association for individuals involved in supply chain management. CSCMP provides educational, career development, and networking opportunities to more than 9,000 members and to the entire profession.
In 1985, recognizing the growing field of logistics, the association broadened its focus and changed its name to the Council of Logistics Management (CLM), which was our name until CLM’s Executive Committee voted to become CSCMP and changed to the even broader name, effective in 2005.
The
organization is globally renowned for its annual conference, this year
to be held in Denver Colorado October 5-8. More than 3000 participants
are expected from around the world, to connect, collaborate and learn
in general sessions and 27 ‘track’ topics of importance to today’s SCM
professional.
One of the most dynamic of CSCMP’s 92 Roundtables, San Francisco is recognized for its powerful dinner programs featuring world-class supply chain management (SCM) leaders and its flagship Annual Half-Day Seminar event every spring.
The San Francisco Bay Area is home to many of the world’s most innovative companies, dynamic leaders and a popular business center which helps our RT draw great speakers on topics most critical to our membership – as defined every year in our survey of members and friends throughout the SF Bay Area.
Ideas, suggestions and feedback are always welcome. |
