This showcase CSCMP event will feature a panel of top supply chain professionals representing some of the most influential companies impacting the San Francisco Bay Area. Each panelist will be asked to present and justify two supply chain predictions for the coming year. Each panelist will have their prediction voted on by their fellow panelists and the audience. Note: Each panelist and each member of the audience will have both a red sign (disagree) and green sign (agree) to vote on the panelist’s predictions. The event is intended to be fun and to include the audience. The intent is to share some bold ideas and have fun doing so.

Carl Guardino

President & CEO, The Silicon Valley Leadership Group

 

 

Carl Guardino, one of Silicon Valley’s most distinguished business and community leaders, is the President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a public policy trade association that represents more than 375 of Silicon Valley’s most respected companies.
In February 2007, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Guardino to a four-year term on the California Transportation Commission. He was reappointed by Governor Jerry Brown. He also serves on numerous other boards and is actively involved in a wide range of community organizations and projects. In 2000, the San Jose Mercury News named Guardino one of the “Five Most Powerful” people in Silicon Valley in a once-per-decade study.

Guardino has been the chief executive of the Leadership Group since 1997. He previously served as a vice president with the organization between 1991 and 1995. He also held an executive position in governmental affairs with Hewlett-Packard and he spent six years on the staff of Central Valley Assemblyman Rusty Areias, the last three as his chief assistant.

Guardino is the founder and race director of the annual Thanksgiving Day Applied Materials “Silicon Valley Turkey Trot.” In addition, he hosts “The CEO Show,” a radio talk show featuring top Silicon Valley CEOs and other executives that airs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. on KLIV AM 1590. Guardino also is on the boards of California Forward and the California League of Conservation Voters. Guardino was born and raised in San Jose and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from San Jose State University, where he is a Distinguished Alumnus. In his spare time, Carl competes in marathons and Ironman distance triathlons.

Fred Tiso

VP WW Hardware, Software and Service Supply Chains,

Citrix Systems

Fred Tiso is responsible for WW Hardware, Software and Service Supply Chains at Citrix Systems, a $2.9B application virtualization, SaaS and cloud networking company. He is responsible for the Forecasting, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Logistics, RMA/Repair/Re-cycling, Spares, and Engineering (NPI) organizations. Global fulfillment locations include US, Brazil, Singapore, China, Australia, India, Dubai, Ireland, Russia and Hungary.

Since joining Citrix, his focus has been on re-architecting the global supply chain to improve customer satisfaction, gross margins and asset utilization. The primary strategies used to re-architect the supply chain were the adoption of a robust S&OP process, predictive cost models, global commodity sourcing, outsourcing, implementing a Lean pull system, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Kan Ban replenishment model and digitizing the supply chain via a SaaS BI app to provide real time visibility to key operational data.


Kerry McCracken

VP of Business Solutions for the Integrated Network Solutions Segment,

Flextronics

Kerry McCracken is the VP of Business Solutions for the Integrated Network Solutions Segment at Flextronics.  Her team is responsible for Business Process Design and Supply Chain Architecture and Implementation for Infrastructure Customers and Operations.  Ms. McCracken has over twenty years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations, Materials, IT Applications, and new product introductions. She joined Flextronics in 1998 from Silicon Graphics Inc.  During her tenure at Flextronics, her team has been involved in: 15+ ultra large scale (>$400M, >3 Geo’s) supply chain acquisitions and/or transformations; 30+ ERP Deployments around the world; 30+ Global Supply Chain Automation projects; a variety of deployments of multi-party complex tax strategies; and a variety of Optimization Projects for Inventory, Cash Flow and Lead Time.  Ms. McCracken holds a BSEE from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.


Greg Ginsburg

VP Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Design,

The Clorox Company

Greg Ginsburg is the VP of Product Supply, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Design at The Clorox Company.  His responsibilities include Worldwide Sourcing Team, Supply Chain Discovery and Design for new and ongoing business, data governance, cost savings capability and execution for Clorox Company.  Their brands include Clorox Bleach, Kingsford, Brita, Burts, Glad, Hidden Valley Ranch and many others.  Before joining Clorox, Greg enjoyed the Supply Chain leadership role for Clif Bar and Co.  Prior to working in consumer products, Greg spent 18 years in the chemical business building capability with leadership roles in sales, operations, finance and logistics. He has spent considerable time building business strategies and complementary supply chain design.


Lisa Bugajski

Sr. Director Product Delivery Operations,

Adobe Systems

Lisa Bugajski is the Sr Director of Supply Chain Operations at Adobe Systems Incorporated. With more than two decades of management experience, Lisa has developed a global infrastructure with operations in Singapore, Japan, Bucharest and Dublin to support new product releases, sourcing, production and delivery of Adobe’s products via ESD (electronic software delivery) and finished goods through distribution, direct to retail and the Adobe Store.  With a career background in print production Lisa brought her print manufacturing experience into Adobe’s supply chain 13 years ago, focusing on quality and delivery.
Excelling in the area of change management, Lisa is seeks opportunities in process efficiency and a streamlined organizational structure. As is evident in her achievement in 2008-2009 at extending support of Adobe’s global business needs with expansion of the organization into Adobe’s Bucharest, Romanian office providing support to all regions throughout Europe and Latin America.
With a keen eye and understanding of Adobe’s diverse business models, Lisa is able to drive change through her experienced leadership team continuing to adjust to Adobe’s growing business portfolio.


Mike Hester

SVP Merchandising Operations and Supply Chain,

BevMo!

Mike Hester is Head of all Supply Chain functions including merchandise planning, allocations, replenishment, distribution and logistics for BevMo! He is responsible for managing distributor and 3PL relationships, sales planning and performance against key metrics such as overall sales, new store openings, inventory performance and turns, quality, all while managing and supporting a store base that is growing by 15% annually.
Mike has more than 20 years private and public sector experience in retail distribution and transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, planning, allocation and replenishment as well as process improvement and organizational change management in roles of increased responsibility with Wal-Mart, Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Tuesday Morning, Inc.
Mike served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Captain while completing deployments in Kuwait (Operation Desert Storm) and the Persian Gulf (Ernest Will). Mike has lived and deployed extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East and the United States. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Leadership from Cameron University.
