The San Francisco Bay Area has a storied history of beer making. During the gold rush dozens of breweries thrived in the area. Prohibition put a halt to the progress, but almost 100 years later the Craft Beer industry in the Bay Area is alive and strong.

We invite you to join CSCMP-SFRT members and guests on the evening of March 10th for an informative and enjoyable event taking place at Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company. During the panel discussion titled, "From Grain to Glass, a Conversation on Bay Area Craft Brewing”, attendees will hear from three Craft Beer industry innovators. Enjoy a brewery tour, a pint, and an in-depth discussion from brewer to supplier.

Just like any industry craft brewers must provide enough product on time to meet the level of demand, plan production capacity, coordinate raw material purchasing and intermediate production, and work with the constraints that limit which product can be made on which equipment. In addition, many favorite brews are seasonal and require product line changes throughout the year with short windows of opportunity.
