Supply Chain Resiliency is a topic that has risen in importance for many companies. Recently, the Japanese Tsunami and Thailand flooding showed our vulnerability to natural disasters. Consequently, every supply chain organization should be evaluating their exposure to different factors that can disrupt its operations. Tim Griffin, Site General Manager, Flextronics

Tim Griffin has been in the electronics industry more than 20 years, with supply chain experience in various roles at Texas Instruments, Solectron, SMART Modular Technologies and now at Flextronics International, an Electronic Manufacturing Services global company, as Site General Manager of the Flextronics Milpitas Campus. In this role Tim has responsibility for materials, supply chain, engineering, quality, manufacturing operations, and finance. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Bindiya Vakil

 

Bindiya Vakil, President and Founder, Resilinc

Bindiya is the Founder and President of Resilinc Corporation, a Silicon Valley supply chain risk management solution provider, delivering an end-to-end solution for supply chain visibility and mapping, risk analytics as well as crisis response and mitigation. She is a High Tech supply chain professional from Cisco, Flextronics and Broadcom. She has received recognition as a practitioner and thought leader in the area of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) at MIT and Cisco. Her contributions to the area of Design for Resiliency while at Cisco have been published, and mentioned in many articles on SCRM best practices. She has been a speaker on this topic at MIT, CSCMP, ISM and UC-Berkeley. Bindiya is the Founder and President of Resilinc Corporation, a Silicon Valley supply chain solutions provider, delivering an end-to-end solution for supply chain visibility and mapping, risk analytics as well as crisis response and mitigation.
